I used to call Blake's 7 the best science fiction on television. Well, it reigned supreme for over a decade. But now there's Babylon 5. If you haven't seen it, please do give it a try. Any episode will get you into it, but if you watch them regularly you get even more out of them.
The absolute best Babylon 5 resource on the web is The Lurker's Guide to Babylon 5, newly moved to midwinter.com. An entirely fan-operated site, it has extensive synopses, all the background info you could hope for, and extensive archives of series creator J. Michael Straczynski's posts to the online forums where he interacts with fans.
My favorite actress on the series is Claudia Christian. Ivanova's page is great fun. Check out the RenFaire pictures particularly.
Especially for Bostonians, the latest word on the Boston Area Babylon 5 Schedule. It's been known to jump around a bit.
Voltayre's ENCYCLOPEDIA XENOBIOLOGICA is a treasure trove of information on the universe of Babylon 5. Even where it's inaccurate, it's often fun.
The unofficial Babylon 5 encyclopedia is a good source for the first 58 episodes. Be sure to look up spoo.
The official Warner Brothers Babylon 5 page. You can take a different route that sends you through the jumpgate on your way there.
The Jumpgate Pin page shows off the JMS-approved wares of Elana, who has also been known to visit #callahans.
Robert Lentz`s Babylon 5 Resources surely contains anything you need that I have missed.
