Welcome!

For those of you who haven't been following news.groups, I recently proposed
a newsgroup called talk.troubles for the discussion of people's problems.  It
seems Chris beat me by making an alt group.

Why alt.callahans?  I proposed the newsgroup after just having finished
_Callahan's Crosstime Saloon_ and felt that the atmosphere was one of the
vital aspects.  So I said I'd like the newsgroup to be based on Callahan's
Place.

Well, anyways, let's get this thing going.  I would like, if possible, to
keep this oriented towards people.  If you have some really bad puns, or want
to talk about Spider Robinson's excellent works of fiction, you may go ahead
and post without incineration :).  But please!  Remember that I'd like this to
be about people, not puns or books.

And just to give things a small push...

What do you call two hot-headed people who make cartoons?
