This is a *DRAFT* of a proposed poll of #callahans. It will be a poll of channel regulars, with Claudia (as channel manager) being the sole arbiter of who is a regular for this purpose, and greatly inclined to consider anyone who wishes to express their opinion on this subject a regular. Please don't forward the questions without this introduction.

This poll will not cause any new procedures to be enacted. This poll will give us a starting point for further discussion. I (Claudia) won't act on the results unless there's a clear majority in favor of change and unless there's at least a moderate level of participation in the poll. Votes will be accepted by e-mail after the final poll is posted to the #callahans e-mail list and Claudia's web page. Claudia will post results consisting of 1) a list of all e-mail addresses from which votes were received (with a notation if any votes were rejected for any reason) 2) a total of Y/N votes and a summary of other responses.

I intend each person's comments to remain confidential; if you want your comments to be quoted to others (with or without attribution) please say so and say whether you prefer to remain anonymous. If you cast a vote, your e-mail address *will* be reported in the results.

You should get a vote acknowledgement within 24 hours. If you do not, please resend.

Do you feel there should be a procedure to exclude regulars who cause problems? (Y/N)

1A If a procedure is put in place, do you approve of a procedure involving a 2/3 (or some higher level) vote of channel regulars after an IRC 'hearing' or trial? (Y/N)
1B Do you approve of it being up to the channel manager's discretion? (Y/N)
1C Do you approve of it being up to all the channel ops with over 450 access on W? (Y/N)
1D Do you prefer some other method? (please elaborate)

2A If a procedure is put in place, do you feel that exclusion should include kicking? (Y/N)
