World Class Objects Announces Support for ParcPlace-Digitalk’s VisualWave


BOSTON, Mass., November 28, 1995 -- World Class Objects today announced support for ParcPlace-Digitalk’s VisualWave application development environment (ADE) for the World-Wide Web. World Class Objects is using VisualWave as its strategic companion product to ClassMate , an application framework and toolset for the development of distributed Smalltalk applications. ClassMate and VisualWave extend the power of objects on the Web for applications with requirements such as high volume access, security and transactional durability.

ClassMate provides strong support for applications that incorporate open systems transaction monitors such as Tuxedo as well as legacy interfaces such as EHLLAPI and APPC. ClassMate supports reuse of business logic, distributed function, application partitioning and transaction processing.
