One Internet user said the Church's doctrines are too rigid for young people, particularly with respect to sex.
"Although I feel I want to be a good Catholic, I can't always avoid temptation. It's hard to be a healthy person and not be tempted by sex before marriage, the ease of birth control and many material items. The Pope is against these temptations. Of course, he should be, but that is my big gray feeling toward the Pope. Because I am normal and give into temptations, the Pope's lectures make me feel real unworthy of God, and this bothers me. It is good for him to be strict, yet sometimes I wonder if he is too strict. I know he's just trying to shape us into good Christians, but he's losing our attention by condemning us."
How do you feel about the Pope?
